i can almost guarantee that you will never see a capital letter in anything i write. it will be well punctuated. the writing will manifest itself as a fusion of formality and colloquial composition. there will likely be exclamation marks and (ideally) a large number of question marks. perhaps my writing style will change over time. i mean, that's the idea here, right? open my mind, challenge myself, change myself. i'm ready for adventure. and as excited as i am--i'm scared out of my mind.
this blog will serve as a commemoration and a register of my travels and experiences. my family will likely follow. some of my friends will, some will not. and maybe some others will find a way to live vicariously through my writing (that's what the internet is for, after all). above all, this is for me. it's the trip of a lifetime. why forget it?
